In
discussing the importance of SOHO’s work with Earthscope,
a geological research and educational institution, Christel Hennet,
Ph. D., notes that John “explained how he could best meet
our IT networking requirements in an open, easy to understand
way. He is mindful of keeping everyone involved and informed on
the status of our projects without us even asking. He’s
part of our team as well as a good leader. He has assembled a
group of competent and courteous professionals to set up our network,”
added Christel.
Earthscope is a new National Science Foundation-funded venture
that will apply modern observational, analytical and telecommunications
technologies to investigate the structure and evolution of the
North American continent and the physical processes controlling
earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. SOHO is setting up a network
that will meet Earthscope’s ever-expanding needs, while
keeping them within their budget.
“John is by far one of the most honest people I’ve
worked with. In addition, he’s calm and flexible about changes
and responds to our last minute and emergency requests. He’s
a wonderful resource for us!” she added.
