Southern Management, the largest privately held
property owner and management company in the Washington metro area, hired John Dickerson and SOHO to completely restructure the IT system that enables their 1,200 employees to manage 25,000 apartments at 70 different locations.

“John met with 14 managers in all of the different areas, such as technology, finance and human resources, as well as the property managers for the individual communities, and achieved a consensus on the direction for the new IT infrastructure. That was quite an achievement, especially since many of the managers don’t have a lot of technical experience,” explained David.

“He developed a rapport with long-time employees and communicated the technical details of what equipment and systems were needed and why in a way that was easily understood by senior management. John’s greatest strength is his skill in communications,” explained David.

“He produced revolutionary changes in our organization in a short period of time on a $2 million dollar project,” added David.
